Congratulations to Ruhani from Chaboya Middle School for winning the Santa Clara County College Day 2020 Sticker Design Contest! The County Office of Education received and reviewed artwork from students all over the county. Great job, Ruhani!

The Evergreen School District Board of Trustees has appointed Mrs. Deborah Ashmore to the position of Assistant Superintendent, Educational Services of Evergreen School District subject to ratification of the employment agreement at the July 9, 2020 Board of Trustees Regular Meeting.

At the time of school closure, elementary students just completed Trimester 2. For Trimester 3, students will receive feedback in the "teacher comments" area of the report cards. Traditional grades will not be provided and "NA" will be recorded in all subject areas.

The following message from Quimby Oak Middle School explains elective requests, leadership recommendations, and LSI applications for the 2020-2021 school year. With the current state of school closure due to COVID-19, this is Quimby's current plan to support the scheduling of all incoming 7th graders. Beginning on September 4, 2019, every Wednesday is Rock n' Roll Wednesday. Remember to wear your special Walk n' Roll t-shirt and participate in this healthy practice. Earn raffle tickets to win incentives. This event is sponsored in collaboration with the City of San Jose.
