On January 12, 2022, the California Department of Public Health released revised guidance for TK-12 settings in which they identified alternative approaches to contact tracing and quarantine.

At the Board of Trustees meeting held Thursday, January 13, Superintendent Awards were presented to the following community partners, staff, parents and volunteers who played a critical part in ensuring Evergreen students are at the center of what we do, and our why.

Testing opens at 7:15 - 4:00 at our 3 middle schools. Pre-registration is required. Numbers will be assigned to students upon arrival. We ask for your patience and understanding as there may be some delays. Please note, all 3 testing centers at our middle school are open for ESD students and staff ONLY.

We are receiving requests to return to Distance Learning. As a reminder, the State of California law does not allow schools to offer distance learning. The ability to offer distance/remote/virtual/synchronous learning expired on June 30, 2020.
   
Despite the COVID-19 surge California is experiencing, in the absence of a state or local health order, Local Education Agencies (LEAs) do NOT have the explicit legal authority to shift to virtual learning.
